Award Winning Success
In previous years have been very rewarding for us. we were put forward by some of the manufacturers we use for various awards within the industry. The first was in early 2012 when we were nominated for 'Water Efficient Installer Of The Year' award at the Renewables Roadshow held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The competition was tough as all other nominees in our category were some of the best in the country. Dale Clarke & his wife Vickie attended the awards evening not expecting to win. When the winners name was mentioned as Dave Clarke & Son Ltd, it started a chain of events for the next 18 months.

In late December 2012 the company was nominated for the one of the most prestigous awards within the industry the 'Energy Efficient Installer Of The Year' at the coveted 'H&V News Awards'. In March 2013 Dave Clarke & Dale Clarke had to present themselves before a panel of judges where they were asked various questions on why the award should be presented to them. After holding their own to the gruelling questions and going over the project in which the company had been put forward for, The companys head quarters which boats one of the country's first fully working renewable link up system.
The following day when Dave & Dale were walking round 'Eco Build' at the London Excel Arena, which they try to attend annually as this is the chance to see the latest energy efficient products that are on the market, the judges came up to them and expressed how impressed they were with the work the company does. It would be a 2 month wait before the awards night at the Grosevnor Hotel in London for them to find out if they had been successful in their presentation.

In 2004 Dale Clarke was asked to represent Leicester College in the annual Skillbuild competition. This was a multi trade competition with the regional winners heading out a final in minehead. Dale had 3 days notice for the regional round as this was a last minute decision from the college to enter. As the college had missed out on the East Midlands round, the college were allowed entry into the West Widlands round at Stourbridge. Dale was successful in winning the round narrowly beating the apprentice of the year on the way. It would be several months until the finals in Minehead. The finalists were all given a four sectional layout shown opposite with specific datum lines to work to with minimum wastage on products used. Dale came runner up in this and his parents were very proud of him as a result. The college awarded Dale with 'The Outstanding Achievement In Plumbing' Award at the end of an academic year.
