Of course you probably don't know what is going on inside your central heating system, you may assume that itis working to maximum efficiency and is unlikely to fail, but....
The Facts
Fact
Many central heating systems have never been cleaned and therfore will be operating below their optimum efficency level. Cleaning a dirty system can improve effectiveness by up to 15%, as shown by independent tests. Fitting Sentinel into your system will help ensure it is running as effectively as possible.
Fact
Corrosion, scale debris and sludge in the system are the most common sources of problems that affect the energy efficiency and effectiveness of the boiler and heating system. You may notice cold spots at the bottom of your radiators, a noisy pump or just that the system does not heat your house the way it used to.

After
It is not unusual for a radiator with several years service to have a significant level of debris present. This debris will prevent the radiator warming the room. The two images above illustrate this. The radiator in the 'Before' image has a build up of sludge which is clearly producing a massive cold area on the radiator. The 'After' image was taken after the heating system had been cleaned with a Sentinel cleaning product.
Fact
The UK Building Regulations Compliance Guide now states that when installing a new boiler onto a new or existing central heating system the minimum provision for boiler efficiency, system circulation and hot water storage is that the system should be thoroughly cleaned and protected with corrosion inhibitor.

X100 Inhibitor
A general purpose treatment for total protection against scale and corrosion in all types of indirect central heating systems, including those containing aluminium. Will extend the life of the system, and ensure maximum efficiency and minimum fuel usage. Once added, X100 never needs to be replaced unless the system is drained down.
X300 System Cleaner
Sentinel X300 System Cleaner is specifically designed for new central heating systems. It flushes out flux installations debris from new indirect central heating systems. Helps to maintain system efficiency and conserve fuel.
X500 Inhibited Antifreeze
Provide protection against scale and corrosion in all types of indirect heating systems, including those containing aluminium components, whilst preventing freezing. It is effective at preventing hydrogen gas production.
X800 JetFlo Ultimate Cleaner
X800 JetFlo, voted Corgi Domestic Product of the year 2006, is a heavy duty, 'one visit' cleaning formulation designed to remove corrosion deposits and scale in domestic central heating systems. specially designed to complement power flushing using a unit such as Sentinel's JetFlush 4.
X200 Noise Reducer

X700 Sanitiser & Biocide
Designed to clean and protect underfloor heating systems. Sentinel X700 is a solution containing a stabilised biocide for use in underfloor heating systems. The growth of bacteria and fungi in these systems can cause problems such as blockages of the pipe work, manifolds, valves and heat exchangers. Systems can also produce unpleasant smells or suffer from corrosion of the heat exchanger and manifolds. This can severely disrupt the smooth and efficient operation of the system. Sentinel X700 is specifically designed to eliminate these problems in underfloo heating systems.
